PARAKARAM DIWAS 2025: District level quiz competition held at PM SHRI KV Ujjain, 7 students bag top prizes

 













A district level quiz competition was organized at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ujjain on Thursday 23rd January, 2025. Seven students bagged top positions in the quiz competition organized on this occasion. Harshi Lalwani of Government School of Excellence won first prize.

 

Principal Mr. Mukesh Kumar Meena and Headmaster Mr. Vipin Mehta graced the inaugural ceremony. Escort teachers of participating schools were greeted by the principal.

 

The competition was organized by the Government of India under "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025" in every district headquarters to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, "Parakram Diwas". For this purpose, 568 Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country were selected by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. A total of 100 students from class 9 to 12 from 15 schools of the district including Kendriya and Navodaya Vidyalaya participated in the quiz competition. Along with the participating students, the escort teachers of their schools were also present at the venue.

 

JNV, Ghatia, JNV, Buranabad, PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School, Dussehra Maidan, PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School, Kanipura Road, Poddar International School, CM Rise School of Excellence, Maharajwada High School, Model School, Gyan Sagar Global Academy, Bosan International School, Akshat International School, St. Paul Sister Mary School, Christ Jyoti School, Sarafa High School and Gyan Sagar Academy participated in this district level quiz competition under Pariksha Pe Charcha. The series "Bharat Hain Hum" was first shown to the hundred participants before the conduction of the quiz.

 

Prizes were given away to the top seven winners while participation certificates were given away to all the students. On this occasion, the book 'Exam Warrior' written by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was also distributed to all the participating students. The school coordinator of the competition PGT Shashi Bhushan Tiwari conducted the programme. PGT Mathematics Mr Rajesh Sharma presented the vote of thanks.
