PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya
Ujjain celebrated 77th Republic Day with full zeal and enthusiasm on
26th January, 2026. National Flag was unfurled by the chief guest Shri
Ranjit Kumar, DCR Ujjain Division and Nominee Chairman, Vidyalaya Management
Committee. Principal Shri Mukesh Kumar Meena greeted the chief guest, parents
and students in his welcome address.
Students sang National Anthem
with immense pride saluting it with patriotic spirit. A spectacular march past
by the students left the audience spell bound. Various cultural programmes including
group dance, patriotic group song and poetry recitation were presented by the
students. Assamese Bihu dance by Sheetal Chakrakar became the centre of
attraction for the spectators. Another event of Yoga performance by the KVians compelled
the audience to cheer them with loud applause. English and Hindi speeches were
delivered by the students Varad Purohit and Kanika Negi respectively. Priyanshi
Joshi of class XI recited a poem and filled the audience with patriotic
fervour.
Certificates were given away
to Scouts and Guides. The chief guest felicitated the teachers for
earning gold and silver certificates for achieving higher performance in the
board examination. Chief guest in his addressed motivated the children to work
diligently to realise the dream of Viksit Bharat and pay a true homage to the sacrifices
of the freedom fighters. Programme was compered by PGT English Kausilya Sharma
and class XI student Ashmi Yadav. Headmaster Shri Vipin Mehta presented the
vote of thanks.
