PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Ujjain
celebrated 80th Independence Day with full zeal and enthusiasm amidst
cultural extravaganza on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Sh.Ranjeet Kumar, Deputy
Commissioner of Land Records, Nominee Chairman Vidyalaya Management Committee
graced the occasion with his august presence and addressed the gathering with his
motivational words. Vande Matram was sung in a great symphony by everyone before
the flag hoisting. The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag followed by the
National Anthem. The eminent guest saluted the cadets of the four Houses demonstrating
an outstanding march past. The Principal Mr. Mukesh Kumar Meena delivered the
welcome address and encouraged children to display their true integrity towards
the nation. A Tiranga Rally was also taken out by the students in the morning
to commemorate Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign by raising patriotic slogans and
displaying placards. Students from primary, secondary and senior secondary
displayed a euphoria of dance, singing, speeches and yoga presentations on the
beats of patriotic songs. The scintillating performances left the audience spell
bound and received the grand applause from the spectators. Certificates were
given away to the Scouts and Guides for attending Testing Camp. PGT Hindi
Shashi Bhooshan Tiwari and students compered the programme. PGT Physics M.L.
Chorasiya presented the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the sweets
distribution.
